Light and time Reflection 2

While in London to attend Goldsmiths open day I decided to travel to Oxford Street to take some photos of lights in the dark. I initially found it difficult to produce successful photos as in order for the camera to pick up enough light in the dark I had to have a very wide aperture and the subsequent long shutter speed meant that I had a lot of camera shake. I instead decided to utilise this camera shake by purposefully moving the camera to create exciting abstract photos, like painting with light, and I am really happy with my results. I was also able to take some interesting photos in the tube station, making use of the long shutter speed to take photos in which blurred people contrast dramatically with the harsh architecture of the station.
